Master Electric Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Technician to join our Technology Systems Division. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality installations, communicates well with customers, and enjoys working on a variety of low-voltage systems.
Structured Cabling:
- Install and test coaxial, CatSe, Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic cabling.
- Perform terminations, labeling, certification, and troubleshooting.
Security & Life Safety Systems:
- Install and test public address systems, intercoms, cameras, and access control.
- Set up and configure related networked devices.
Audio/Video Systems:
- Install and test AV cabling, displays, speakers, projectors, and control systems.
Professional Expectations:
- Represent Master Electric Inc. professionally on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Required:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screening.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot in the field.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in structured cabling, low-voltage, or similar fields.
- Manufacturer or system-specific training.
- BICSI certification (Installer/Technician) a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and lead small teams.
